Just thankful today, and this week. It's been a whirlwind winter with lots of gray days and today marks 30 days til Spring starts - which I cannot wait for. I am really eager because its my fortieth birthday in June and I'm visiting New Orleans for five magical days of splendor that I am well overdue for.
It's also because my next story release is The Masquerade of Time: a Love Undying and it takes place in New Orleans - a timetravel romance that has Vodoun elements attached to it, I am really excited about the paranormal spin-in that I accomplished while creating this story.
The summer is when it will be released in an upcoming anthology and I have an appointment to discuss the relaunching of 3 of my first titles with a new imprint. I'm also really stoked about that, but anyway...
Decided to enter My screenplay, "Secrets of the Day," into some competitions that should come to conclusion in Spring which adds onto my excitement.
Some of y'all may already be aware that I became a Bestselling author last October with the anthology release of DANCE WITH DARKNESS.
I had another book out on December 4, 2023 and it will be up for a few more weeks so if you've not already gotten it - go pick up SNOWED IN because it's limited edition run will end the first week of March!
To those of you who are not already familiar with me and my story;
I am Sai Marie; I small business owner that provides author and writing services. I am a Bestselling author, screenwriter, poet, and content creator. I've worked so hard to establish myself while simultaneously writing my own books and screenplays, and balancing being a single mother who is 90% deaf and has four children.
Two of whom are fully wheelchair-bound with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a terminal debilitating disease. In fact, my eldest son can only move three fingers on each hand and my secondborn, though fortunate to still have arm mobility, cannot walk or move his lower limbs at all.
These things have all propelled me forward, and despite countless setbacks, losses, and traumas I am able to say I have finally accomplished this after 13 years of diligent hard work!
Who am I?
An author, screenwriter, and business owner of InfinityxCreations, a small production creative studio where we create books, short stories, comics, screenplays for podcasts, commercials, and animations, and video gaming scripting as well as graphic design, videography, and branding; just to name a few.

Hi Sai Marie (Sarah) Johnson - there are few better "characters" in a film than New Orleans. Have an amazing birthday and wishing you huge success with your project set in that amazing town (which also happens to have an incredible film community and so many talented crew members and actors).

Hi Emily J I'm working on several projects concurrently considering my clients slots, but my next work after The Masquerade of Time that comes out in October will be featured in another anthology through Hydra Productions. My specific story in that one will be a paranormal horror that has tie-ins with ritualism and the myth of Ostara. It is called, 'A Toddling Mystery.'

I completely agree, Sam Sokolow I have a friend whose band is presently residentially located there for a jazz stint and I'm excited to see them play while visiting. (If anyone likes Jazz/Swing check out High Step Society) Considering NOLA's rich history the back drop for stories and being that I was highly influenced by Anne Rice makes it one of my personal Meccas. :D

Hey Maurice Vaughan yes, I think it's one of my best creations of late. I'm really excited to see the turnout and what readers think upon release. It was one of those stories that came out of nowhere and latched onto me. It poured out like a waterfall overflooding from the meltdown of winter and I loved creating it.

Hey Sai, your story inspired me. Not waiting till your projects will be purchased even after becoming a best selling author rather trying to work in all areas of the writing industry while having family struggles is what sets you as a culture lover by every versatility space of this definition. My situation is that I need people like you to review my projects (loglines are in my profile) for possibility to edit them professionally together with my regular participation.
Would you manage to find time outside of your own creations and activities though?
