Introduce Yourself : Greetings! by Christian Nommay

Christian Nommay

Greetings!

Hi! I am Christian Nommay, a French writer and transmedia creator who lives in Quebec, Canada. I haven't been on Stage 32 for a while for personal and professional reasons, but I thought it was an excellent time to come back and say hello.

I initially created a Spy-fi roleplaying game universe titled Titan Effect for those who don't know me. I spent the last two years collaborating with Emmy-nominated Director, writer, and producer Boman Modine, whom I met thanks to Stage 32's script services, to adapt Titan Effect into an Anime series. We were close to signing a development agreement with a Canadian production company with an Emmy Award-winning showrunner last year. Sadly, we eventually had to cancel the deal (a bit of advice: always hire a lawyer), and we are now looking for new partners. We want to produce and make an animated short film as a proof-of-concept.

In the meantime, my work with Titan Effect caught the attention of a producer who recently offered me to work with him on a new IP for a big entertainment company. Stage 32 helped me get where I am today, so I would gladly help others and share advice.

Cheers,

Marcel Nault Jr.

Bienvenue à bord, Christian. :) Content de voir un autre québécois de souche sur Stage 32.

Geoff Hall

Christian Nommay greetings Christian. Yes, always employ a good lawyer! Well done for learning that lesson and good luck with your anime series.

Maurice Vaughan

Welcome back, Christian Nommay! Look at that poster! Phenomenal! Sorry to hear about the canceled deal. Hope you find new partners. Congratulations on "Titan Effect" catching the attention of a producer and the collaboration!

Christian Nommay

Merci, Marcel! Au risque de te décevoir, je suis français pure souche (moitié doubien, moitié périgourdin), mais ça va faire 17 ans que je vis à Québec. ;)

Christian Nommay

Thanks a lot, Geoff and Maurice!

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Christian Nommay. Did you make the poster?

David P Perlmutter

Great to connect Christian Nommay good luck with all your projects and keep going. ✍

Billy Kwack

Hi Christian, looks cool, nice artwork

Christian Nommay

Thank you, David and Billy! Maurice Vaughan, the artwork was made by Indian artist Ani Ghosh, who also collaborated with me on the RPG's second edition; we even did a short comic book together.

Maurice Vaughan

Thanks, Christian Nommay. I might have to get Ani Ghosh to make me a poster one day. Is the comic out?

Christian Nommay

The comic is out, but it's part of the RPG's second edition.

Billy Kwack

Good luck Christian

Richard "RB" Botto

Welcome back, Christian Nommay. Thrilled to hear about the work you're going to do for the big entertainment company. Any more you can share?

Christian Nommay

Thank you, Richard "RB" Botto! I can't say much right now as the project is still secret, but the producer is ready to pay me with his own advance because the client doesn't have a budget for freelance and prefers to use in-house employees. So, knowing that the producer really wants me on this project is very flattering.

Richard "RB" Botto

That's fantastic, Christian Nommay. Anytime there's a check involved, you know there's serious intent.

Nick Phillips

Welcome back Christian Nommay! Congrats on the offer for that new IP, and meanwhile Titan Effect looks very cool!

Christian Nommay

Thanks a lot, Nick!

Tucker Teague

Christian Nommay Welcome. I'm new here myself. I actually had an account on Stage32 back in 2013, but I did nothing with it. So a fresh start for me.

Daniel Husbands

That looks like a very cool concept, its interesting how games cross over into film and vice versa. I'm near Kingston, Ontario and I've been writing ideas for both industries since the pandemic. Do you still have your original game?

Richard "RB" Botto

Welcome back, Tucker Teague. Hope to see you around the community and contributing more often.

Christian Nommay

Thank you very much, Daniel Husbands! Yes, I'm still developing new material for the RPG, and I recently collaborated with a German company to make a series of short audio-interactive stories: https://twist-tales.com/games/titan-effect/

Daniel Husbands

The interactive stories are a good crossover of reading and playing, I like that you can speak your answers.
