I've been told in animation the scripts tend to be a bit longer because each page requires more description, so it won't be an exact 1 minute per page but more like 45 or 30 seconds per page. I have also heard Sound effects and put in angled brackets. Are you aware of these differences and are there anymore? What are the major differences if any and where can I find animation series scripts to read?

Kevin Jackson That appears to be a myth of sorts (or related to when animation started). If you read the major animations like Antz or Toy Story, they are the same length as any other screenplay.
Some TV shows will have longer scripts because the margins are different and they add extra line spaces to make them easier to read for the voice actors. Otherwise, the description isn't much different.

There is more visual description required in animation. Not much more, but about 10% more because there is more worldbuilding required typically. You still want your writing to read fast and with a good pace though, so it's all about balance like always.

using one of the mediums a nice idea would be to do a group script write day session to see what comes out of a collaborative idea
