Hi all.
Hello to all the fellow creatives out here - keep writing, acting, producing, directing or whatever it is you do. We all need each other and may the best ideas win.
I'll keep this brief. I'm in Australia, I studied journalism and screenwriting before making short films and writing features. I have won loads of awards for my feature scripts (and have a bank of them) which cover a range of genres. I've had studios ask to read them but thus I haven't had one made. I'm approaching the point of attempting to produce 'Prattlebots' myself ... I wrote it to be cheap.
Here's a link to one of my short films if you'd like a laugh. '72 to 1' is an old short which I made with brilliant creatives like Shayne Cantly and a slew of talent where someone had a gift they'd rather not have ... dated but I'm still super proud of all the cast and crew.

David Hearne That's an impressive list of accolades! I have read a few discussions re: competitions, and you are certainly not alone in placing/winning a competition and getting no joy from studios after the fact. Then others were like 'I didn't even place as a quarterfinalist, but eventually my movie got made'. Rooting for you and all the others to break that production barrier and get your creative lifeblood on the screen.
