Hi there, I'm Bill McCormick, a/k/a Bill McSciFi. As you may have surmised, I mostly write science fiction but have dabbled in horror. According to the Critters Readers Poll, I wrote the best sci-fi novels of 2020 & 2022. According to Kirkus Reviews, I've never written a bad novel. According to my wife, I'm good-looking. So you can take all of that however you like. I will note that a recent pitch session with an industry exec ended up with them requesting my pitch deck. So, I may be on the right track.
I've been part of Stage 32 for a while and find it to be a great resource as well as a fun place just to hang. Since you've read this much, I'd like to offer you a free PDF of Book 1 of my series, The Brittle Riders. Just message me so I can keep track of where they're going.
And, yes, it's being shopped as a film property. So is my comic book series, Legends Parallel. I'm also working on a script that's not based on an existing IP. Right now, it's angry with me, but I see promise hiding in there.
Feel free to say hi. As I've mentioned before, I rarely bite.

Maurice Vaughan the fun kind. My latest, THE EXISTENTIAL NOTHINGNESS OF THE EVERWHEN, is coming out next month, and my revisionist history of the Archies, Fun Time at the Apocalypse a Go-Go, has been out since 2020. I don't do it often, but I do like it.

Thanks Maurice Vaughan, I try to make them catchy. I get so tired of seeing stuff named some variation of The Evil Mist. Horror need not be boring or trite.

Sci-fi is my favorite as well because it offers a whole universe of possibilities.

You're welcome, Bill McCormick. That's smart! It'll help your work stick out. I like to know the title before I start a script, but sometimes I'll make a list of titles and pick one later.

I know that drill well Maurice Vaughan. The EVERWHEN title came from the ramblings of a magic mirror.

So when your wife tells you you're good looking, Bill McCormick, do you believe her? My wife tells me the same thing and I don't want to tell her that it's the only thing in our marriage that she's ever lied about because she doesn't lie so I can't decide if I am or not. Maybe I should just take her word for it. All kidding aside, I love your posts, brother. Try not to hold a grudge against your script. It has feelings and can tell.

Yeah, Leonardo Ramirez, I once erased 80,000 words out of a novel because I didn't like the way they read. I'll figure this out.

Hey Bill McCormick, great to hear from you! What's your comic book Legends Parallel about?

Hi Pat Alexander, "A man, his mom, and her lover have to save the multiverse. No one said this shit would be easy. The perfect series for those who think quantum physics isn't sexy, or violent, enough.."
Basically, it's a raucous romp through Hugh Everett III's version of the multiverse. No duplicate people; not all Earths evolved humans. It's fun and has some serious critical acclaim. Oddly popular in England for reasons no one knows.
