Hello everyone,
I hope you're all doing well!
My name is Jordan Desmurs, and I’m a line producer working between Los Angeles and Paris. I specialize in budgeting short films across both the United States and Europe. Typically, I collaborate with small to mid-sized production companies, as well as occasionally with independent filmmakers’ associations.
For budgeting and scheduling, I work with two main software suites:
— Movie Magic Budgeting & Scheduling (primarily for US productions)
— CeltX (often used for smaller-scale productions, usually in France)
In addition to budgeting, I also assist with the creation of pitch decks (tailored to meet streaming platform standards) and script formatting when needed.
If you have any questions or would simply like to connect, I’m always open to meeting new people and discussing future collaborations.
Looking forward to speaking with you soon!

Ah yes, movie magic budgeting and scheduling, back in my producing class days I used to use that. I liked it. I also use Celtx for all things script wise. (Some of us are not bougie enough for final cut pro

Yeah Final Cut is good for breakdown but that's not the workflow I prefer. I use this only for scriptwriting.

It's crazy how much Celtx has evolved over the years.

Yeah of course! I knew it when it was still on a software, then I discovered the website and it was much more better :)
