My debut short film was selected to screening at the Female Film Club Festival in London, supported by BFI.

Exciting News!

I’m beyond thrilled to share that my first short film, THE MISSTEP, has been selected for screening at the Female Film Club Festival in London, supported by BFI (British Film Institute)! The screening will take place on Thursday, July 11th, at the iconic BFI Stephen Street in London.

This journey started with Stage 32, where my curiosity about the process from script to screen led me here. Initially a screenwriter, I then became executive producer for the Seeing Rachel film, currently in development by Geoff Hall.

I wrote and directed The Misstep, taking on multiple roles, including co-producing and leading post-production, alongside my incredible team.

THE MISSTEP is a thriller made as a proof of concept and shot in a cinematic style. This accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support and guidance from the Stage 32 community.

A heartfelt thank you to Ashley Smith for her patience during my time away as a lounge moderator and to Maurice Vaughan and John Mezes for their invaluable help refining the logline.

Most importantly, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone in the Filmmaking/Directing, Producing, and Writer's Room Lounges; your advice and encouragement through my publications have meant everything to me.

Following the London screening on July 11th, THE MISSTEP will launch on Vimeo, and I’m kicking off its marketing strategy on Instagram. Stay tuned.

I’ll keep you posted!

THANK YOU, STAGE 32!
