Priya Mistry

Congratulation Maurice Vaughan , for finishing your rewriting. I am working on NWC goals on a daily basis to finish it all at the end of the month. Also it was a good decision to be part of NWC club. This community is helpful and motivates a lot. Grateful for that!!!

Elle Bolan

Omg I'm so glad you got your rewrite done! Great work! This next pass is going to come out great too.

So far this week, I completely polished TETHERED up. It is completely done done as a spec until someone buys it and changes everything haha. It's a grief descent disguised as a religious cult thriller. Got to give you a big shout out too Maurice Vaughan. Your comment about timing my descriptions in the right moment made a huge difference in how easy the revisions came together. So thank you. 94 pages in total.

I am pulling the skeleton draft of INSPIRATION INC. out of my brain now. I've gotten to page 15 so far. I'm not real sure what to make of this one yet. But.. I'm laying out the old bones. The titular company is optimizing and "harvesting" creatives for maximum dollar value. And the glue that connects it all is the only undoing that will stick.

Might be a trunk script. Who knows? We shall see!

Maurice Vaughan

Thanks, Priya Mistry. I'm glad you joined Write Club! Congratulations on the progress you made on your goals! I'm rooting for you to reach them!

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Elle Bolan. Thanks and thanks for the shout out. Congratulations on finishing TETHERED and making progress on INSPIRATION INC.! Great titles! I'm rooting for you to sell both of them!

Elle Bolan

Ooooh! I love that poster. It screams vampires even before you see the text! That red!

Maurice Vaughan

Thanks, Elle Bolan. I plan on getting a pro to make a poster once I finish the script.

Meriem Bouziani

Congratulations to you!

I hope you reach all your creative goals.

Maurice Vaughan

Thanks, Meriem Bouziani. Congratulations on the progress you've made on your goals! Hope you reach your goals!

Sandra Isabel Correia

Congratulations Maurice Vaughan for achieving your goal. isn’t easy, but when we do it, it’s some king of a bliss :)) Let’s move to Week 2 :))

Maurice Vaughan

Thanks, Sandra Isabel Correia. You're right. And I had to cut some things I wanted in the story, but the script is better without them. I'm rooting for you to reach your goal for the week!

Maria Baltazzi

Well done Maurice Vaughan

I am starting the next section of my chapter. Happy with what I have written so far.

Maria Baltazzi

I do not why my post the same name three times. Sorry about that.

Maurice Vaughan

Thank you, Maria Baltazzi. Congratulations on starting the next section!

Marie Hatten

Well done Maurice Vaughan . I'm currently realizing how much is wrong with my two separate drafts but oddly that's an accomplishment because previously I wouldn't have understood what they are lacking.

Maurice Vaughan

Thanks, Marie Hatten. That is an accomplishment. The same thing happened to me while rewriting my script last week and this week. Congratulations!

David Austin Veal

I cleaned up the pilot for my sci-fi dramedy again. I have to stop that now. Set it aside. And I have a basic - evolving outline for the rest of the 9 episodes. This is tougher than I thought. I'm rewriting key points for those episodes, to try and pace the storyline and determine some better character choices. I'm giving myself till this weekend. Then moving on in the process. but I have to say, I'm excited about understanding my characters better through the process. I know that I really need a writer's room to elevate them, but as a personal experience, this is elevating me. I love the control and the imaginative journey.

Maurice Vaughan

Congratulations on cleaning up your pilot, David Austin Veal! I'm glad it's elevating you! And you reminded me I need to clean up a pilot and the series logline. Thanks.

Pamela Jaye Smith

Good for all of you! Sounds like positive progress in sometimes unexpected ways. The group process certainly seems to be energizing. Wishing you all much success with your creative projects. Write On!

Maurice Vaughan

Thanks, Pamela Jaye Smith. I finished the draft for this week today. Hope you're making progress on your projects!

Pamela Jaye Smith

Indeed, Maurice, thanks for asking -- I'm closing in on completing a novella, 4th in a series of linked stories. Good luck to all Stage 32-ers on this Write Club.

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Pamela Jaye Smith. That's great. Congratulations! A linked series sounds interesting! Looking forward to hearing what it's about!

Pamela Jaye Smith

Thank you for the encouragement, Maurice.
