Hello Stage 32 community! I am Hannah, an Algerian author and researcher. I am excited to share my latest novella, "RIHAB."
Imagine a mix between "A Beautiful Mind" and the Vincent." My story follows Rihab, a fine arts student who perceives her mental illness through the lens of surrealism. While her society tries to treat her with "incense and myths," she discovers that her only salvation is her paintbrush.This is a highly visual story, filled with "color explosions" and psychological depth. I am looking for connections with:
Screenwriters interested in adapting North African stories.
Producers looking for diverse, female-led psychological dramas.
Concept Artists who resonate with the "Art as Therapy" theme.

That and networking are how I sold four short scripts to a producer. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post about your novella on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”)

I suggest adding a profile picture of yourself and a detailed bio to your profile. People will feel more comfortable networking and collaborating with you if they know what you look like. And if you have a picture, your profile will show up when someone searches for you. A detailed bio will help you build relationships/network on here. You could add things to your bio like why you became an author and researcher, your accomplishments, your goals, and what books, movies, and shows you like.
You can upload a picture by clicking the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and selecting “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu, then clicking the red button underneath your location and choosing "Update profile picture."
