Congrats all. I keep reading don’t write period pieces because they’re too expensive to produce but seems like half of the best picture nominations go to period pieces so I’m going to keep writing them.

Congrats to all the Semifinalists. My screenplay Masters and Servants takes place in 1939-1940. Not that I. was alive back then but close enough that my parents and other relatives were adults during that time so through stories etc. I believe I have a feel for the period which one would not get merely by reading about it.
