Thanks so much to the staff and readers of Stage 32, and for your support of scripts that remind us that, as Winston Churchill said, "The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see."

Paul Sokal

Congrats all. I keep reading don’t write period pieces because they’re too expensive to produce but seems like half of the best picture nominations go to period pieces so I’m going to keep writing them.

Randall Hahn

Congratulations to all the SFs!!! So excited and happy for Dead Man's Dust to still be alive.

John Enright

Congrats to all the Semifinalists. My screenplay Masters and Servants takes place in 1939-1940. Not that I. was alive back then but close enough that my parents and other relatives were adults during that time so through stories etc. I believe I have a feel for the period which one would not get merely by reading about it.

Steven Waldinger

Congratulations Semifinalists! So honored to have Brooklyn Peace in the semis!

Barbie Ross

Congrats, Semifinalists and thank you Stage 32! My hour-long drama pilot AGGIE follows a young woman from a struggling immigrant family in 1917 New York City as she pursues her dream of becoming a vaudeville comedienne while facing the harsh realities of her time.
