Anything Goes : Crowdfunding in the UK by Francis Harriman

Hi, our production company - Arrondissement Films - is currently putting together a crowdfunding pitch which we are planning to launch on Dec 1st. We are some way into the pre-production stages of the film with a shoot scheduled for the spring of 2013. The film will be shot in the UK, but the 'location' is foreign and the subject matter is 'international' in it's message and dramatic content. We are interested to know from others out there who have tried crowdfunding, and also dealt with 'internatonal' topics how they dealt with the challenges and if there were any unique hurdles they may have come across.
