Anything Goes : Breaking In by Lauren Hunter

I along with many of my fresh graduating class often find it difficult to break into the business. I am keenly aware that networking is plays a major role in getting onto projects. I do ask for any advice that either I or my other colleagues may be able to use in order to assist us into the production field. More specifically I am focus my skill set in audio production in either recording, mixing or editing for film. Will working on smaller projects help build a resume so I may be involved in bigger projects? Or should I attempt to just start working as a PA and crew work? At this point I will be happy to just help out in any way and gain experience on set.
