Introduce Yourself : Young and aspiring screenwriter/director by Grant Reid

Having had a look through the website for a few days I assume this is a predominantly western-Pacific social networking hub for all things performance. Well, I'm from a fairly average town just outside of Glasgow, Scotland where nothing much goes on, so hopefully I can use this as a platform for doing more than watching and admiring other people's films. My practical experience is minimal, to be honest. I've only just started writing stories and applying scripts to them in the last year. But I hope someone somewhere can look at my work some day and see potential at the very least. I've introduced myself, come and say hello to me. I'm more than willing to check out some of your works, discuss techniques and different things so please add me to your network and help a young guy out!
