Anything Goes : The Theatrical Development Centre by Arthur Greisiger

Image of the Mind Studios is currently setting up a sound stage and scene shop in a 10K warehouse primary for producing "The Gnomes of New Hope". We are installing a 50% stage, a seating gallery, design & shop facilities (including in house wood & metal working fabrication, there is also a full service machine shop attached to the facility), production offices, product showroom and an exhibition area. There is a developing recycling yard attached. If we move forward to implement this as a service facility, it will be a membership only shop, which means that members-only have access to the facilities, equipment, tools, supplies and trucking capabilities. I am thinking that membership will be 1.5K per year. Membership fees go to the 50K/year facility maintenance overhead. Personnel (other than core operations) will be freelance. We are also on a path to secure and construct a larger studio facility/operation under the principle of it being a Spiritual Retreat and Theatrical Development Centre. We have under consideration a closed down resort as a possible site for development. The property consists of 500 acres with over 40 cottages nestled in the woods. There is hotel, restaurant, and other facilities such as shops and entertainment center. We are looking at a huge amount of effort and money to refurbish this facility, turn it into a convention centre and make it productive for many film and theatre activities. This effort will require a team of very savvy and competent individuals, people with the real ability to move forward and not only dream about it. On my end of things, forward momentum on this project is contingent upon the success of "The Gnomes of New Hope:Zach & Zebby's Grand Adventure". I welcome dialogue. AG
