If by post-production you've ran out of money for a good music score, sound design, editing, sound mix, etc.. then for your next film you should get a new producer who understands the MASSIVE value of these people and how their talent can affect greatly a film's quality and potential. It doesn't matter much if you have the absolute best locations, equipment, cinematographer and actors; if the music and sound are mediocre or bad, your ENTIRE FILM will suffer these consequences and destroy the work of dozens, hundreds or thousands of people.. In other words, PLAN WISELY!!
Funny how no one comments anything about this haha.. Stage32 must have enormous amounts of people doing this =/
I fall in the same category of a massive planner, from storyboarding every shot to pre-planning all post production work (color, effects, editing, etc). I feel like the biggest thing I am afraid of is running into a day on a project where I don't know what I am supposed to be doing.
