Some would. Most would not. An actor should always ask if travel and lodging are part of the agreement. A producer should always mention it.

sometimes if it is a screen test, the studio or production co. will pay. Also union regulations require your expenses to be paid on certain callbacks/auditions. You get paid on commercial third callbacks too.
