No, you don't understand-- They REFUSE to do ANYTHING that's not a reality show. Oprah doesn't want to. Nor can she legally go against the company charter. She would have to form a NEW company.
It's now November 2012 and I see Oprah is doing scripted programming with Tyler Perry. What do you know....not everything. On OWN is a reality show.
Femi, in the 11 months since you asked your question many things have changed with OWN. Did you find the contacts you were looking for in that time?
I knew that in a matter of time the OWN brand would have to expand In order to stay afloat. That lady was so rude & was acting like she had all the answers. (so I had to post that things have changed) To answer your question: I was presented with a 30 episode deal on a show That I've worked on for years. So good things are coming.. OWN hear I come
