Slightly shamed to say I have…

Slightly shamed to say I have only just watched the pilot episode for Breaking Bad - but Wow! THE best pilot I have ever seen for any TV show. It got my thinking, what is everyones favourite pilot TV episode on here?

Ben Johnson

man, ending to season 1 is amazing. Best show ever written. Thats why TV is better than film at the moment.

Wendy Casey

I love Breaking Bad!

Sandra Elise Williams

Homeland, filmed in Charlotte NC had a fine reception at the Golden Globes last night. Seen it?

Stephen Melling

I've not heard of it however I am in the UK - so we get everything 6 months later than you guys. Although I usually watch them all online anyway.

Sandra Elise Williams

it airs on Showtime, Sunday nights, similar to "24" but deals w/ Homeland Security, Claire Dannes stars, good is relative, but yes, it is gaining momentum & finding its footing/foundation.

Stephen Melling

I'm not sure why, however British TV is really awful. Not sure what it is like over there but here prime time TV on the largest channels includes repeats of shows from 2009, thats prime time! No money in TV here.

Stephen Melling

I'm not sure what the problem is. There are other people from the UK that may know though... I just wish we had a channel like HBO.

Stephen Melling

Other people on here from the UK is what I meant, obviously.

Ben Johnson

4od is the best thing we have and thats because how i met your mother and the big bang theory are on there.

Stephen Melling

4od is a clear winner aye. They make some really good docs too - but they all have the same formula, and narrator it seems.

Stephen Melling

The fact the government got rid of the UK film council - who funded independent films here - kind of tells you all you need to know really.

Stephen Melling

Curt, Cheers was brilliant. Fraiser was brilliant too - but cannot remember the pilot for it...
