Question: Is the world of TV & film recession proof or as near as any industry can be these days. I think it is for one when times are good more people go to the cinema to watch film and people want to see large budget films. Two when things aren't so good like now people tend to stay in and watch TV so more TV type film's, drama's and the like are made as no one wants to watch repeat's all the time. Sky in the UK seems to be doing this by commissioning far more of their own content instead of buying straight from the US. On the flip side of that the BBC is cutting down on the programs it commissions and produces due to budget cuts. What do you think, I'm I talking rubbish or is there some truth in it?
