Hey guys! I am really drawn to documentaries and was wondering what advice everyone could provide in starting/shooting a documentary. Is it similar to narrative? Any help would be appreciated.

Watch some of your favorites with the director's cut. Like Oliver Stone's JFK goes into detail about a lot of research, shots, time frames, etc.
