About Laura

At the age of 21, I've crafted a creative journey that seamlessly merges two compelling art forms – dance and filmmaking. This dual passion has been my driving force, propelling me through a journey that began in kindergarten and has evolved into a dynamic fusion of movement and storytelling.
My dance journey took a defining turn in fourth grade when I chose to enroll in a dance school. Graduating in 2017, I emerged with refined skills and a profound understanding of the art. Countless hours of practice and dedication molded me into a dancer who thrives on the language of expression through motion.
Transitioning from the world of dance school to dancing in a theater, I took on roles that demanded both grace and intensity. Guided by an experienced drama teacher, I brought characters to life in two dance theatre productions. From portraying a regal princess to embodying the fiery spirit of a flamenco dancer in an adaptation of The Swan lake, the stage became a canvas where I explored the boundaries of artistic expression.
My fascination with storytelling deepened during my high school years, as I delved into the realm of screenwriting. Enrolling in screenwriting courses deepened my appreciation for storytelling. This newfound passion led me to participate in my first film festival, where my screenplay placed 3rd. This achievement not only acknowledged my dedication but also ignited a desire to delve deeper into cinematic storytelling, which led me to selling my first screenplay to be produced.
As a college student, I am highly dedicated to the craft, and as a big dreamer I am intensely passionate about the craft. I hope to only move up from here and continue on my creative journey.
