About Andréa

Andréa is a TV writer who grew up watching – and was subsequently inspired by – daytime soap operas and dramedies on The CW. After co-writing the second episode of the sophomore season of Netflix’s popular series Warrior Nun, she joined the writers’ room of JJ Abrams’ highly-anticipated new series Subject to Change for HBOMax. Her original pilot scripts, THE CHIMERA EFFECT and DARKROOM, are currently being developed by producers Louis Milito and Phil Conserva – both on the original CSI for its entire run – under their Boilermaker Entertainment banner.

Since cutting her teeth on three seasons of the hit series Dexter, Andréa has worked in the writers’ rooms of major network shows like The CW’s Ringer and NBC’s Do No Harm. Meanwhile, her spec of Once Upon A Time landed her a semifinalist position in both the Disney/ABC and Warner Brothers writing fellowships. After assisting showrunner Pam Veasey on two network pilots, she returned to her pay-cable roots with Da Vinci’s Demons, during which she was an active participant in the room and contributed to several of the outlines and scripts. She also gained years of TV development experience with prolific writer/producer Shaun Cassidy under his deal at NBC/Universal.
