Megan Richardson

Megan Richardson has worked as a cinematographer on numerous feature films, music videos, and commercials in the LA area.

She has worked as a videographer and editor for the Advertising Department of The Boston Globe and was awarded an Emmy for work at The Boston Globe “Writers Series”.

An Alumni of Emerson College, she has a BA in Film Production: Cinematography and a minor in Photography. She graduated with Latin Honors (Cum Laude).

During her time at Emerson she received an EVVY for Outstanding Digital Photograph. Emerson’s EVVY Awards are the largest student run Awards ceremony in the United States.

Her images were published on the cover of Emerson's photography book, “Developed Images”.

Upon moving to Los Angeles she worked as Equipment Preparation Technician at the camera rental house Birns and Sawyer Inc. located in Hollywood, CA.

A native of Palo Alto, her photography has been exhibited in its City Hall.

For The Downtown Streets Team non-profit agency she created a calendar entitled, "Faces of Hope". In a Palo Alto Weekly article the calendar was said to "evoke images of dustbowl refugees Dorothea Lange shot during the Great Depression of people impassively staring back at the camera, full of pride and pain.”
