Roosevelt Lewis, playwright turn screenwriter, has written and performed with a local Theatre group in Seattle, Washington. His achievements include an Independent Publishers Book Award for excellence in literature and collaborated to design and build a children’s water theme park.
Born June 30, 1944 in Natchitoches, Louisiana where the primitive years of his artistic life began. Speech and Drama classes lead to his selective interests in screenwriting while attending Seattle Central college.
He was discharged from the army in 1970 at Fort Lewis, Washington which led to his many years residing in Seattle, Washington.
