Ziska Riemann

Born 1973, works as a Director, Comicartist and Screenwriter.
Since 1991 she published several Comicbooks, four of them together with Gerhard Seyfried. Her first cinema feature LOLLIPOP MONSTER was shown on Berlinale Film Festival in 2011. It's the story of two teenage girls who become really dangerous by realising they have nothing to loose.
Since then she worked on the documentary THE POTENTIAL OF NOISE about the music producer Conny Plank and directed two more Cinema Feature Films ELECTRIC GIRL - a partly animated drama about a manic poet who believes she is a superheroine and GET LUCKY a feminist sex education comedy for teens. The style of her filmmaking is very visual and colorful and obviously influenced by her work as a comicartist.
