Starting my professional career as an actor 16 years ago, I have since been integral in developing and distributing several films and series for television and streaming including 20th Century Studios, Prime Video, Hulu, Disney & Refinery29 and BAFTA Qualifying "Treacle" available on Prime.
I'm a storyteller known for female & LGBTQIA+ driven stories in comedy and realism with topics such as mental health and reproductive rights, as well as my work to make sets more sustainable. I love to laugh! I’m also a mental health advocate facilitating peer groups with Set Intentions, as well as a judge for Directing Change mental health film contest.
I'm currently developing Walking In L.A. with Tara Reid and Laura Vorreyer. “Walking in LA follows the feel-good redemption story of magical-thinking protagonist Lucy who, fired from her dream job and dumped by her fiancé, moves on a whim to the City of Angels in search of something better. Upon landing in LA, Lucy discovers she’ll need “connections” to do just about anything, and that self-discovery and reinvention will take more than just hope and determination. Luck finds Lucy when a chance encounter with famous talk show host Angela Noble, played by Reid, sets off a comic and uplifting journey from fish-out-of-water dreamer to successful pet-walking entrepreneur extraordinaire. Based on Vorreyer’s life story and 20+ year career as a celebrity pet sitter, Walking in LA blends girl power comedy with fantastical reality, featuring cameos from celebrities and their pets as Lucy builds her star-studded roster of clients.”
I'm also developing a heartfelt and personal mental health episodic dramedy based on my life.
Walking In L.A. adapted from Laura Vorreyer's The Pet Sitter's Tale Comedy After her life melts down, a determined Midwestern makeup artist impulsively moves to Los Angeles where she's chewed up and spit out until she unexpectedly collars a new career walking the spoiled pooches of the Hollywood elite.
