Dimitris Arvanitis

I was born in Athens in 1951. I started working with photography from 1966 and presented two solo exhibitions in Athens.I began my film career in 1973. Since then I have been a director and producer of film and television productions as well as outdoor shows.
I have directed 5 feature films, 6 short films, 296 TV documentaries and music shows, 1.286 dramatized TV episodes, 24 industrial documentaries and 21 events. I have won 12 awards for my film directions at major international and domestic-Greek film festivals. I teach the acting course for film and television and have published the book "The Actor's Survival Guide for Television and Film" as well as the novel "Parallel Lives"
