Seth Compton

Seth Compton (US) is Creative Director of Fundacja Aardvark Arts, an international artist management and design agency. Seth has trained and worked professionally with the critically acclaimed Polish theater company, Teatr Pieśń Kozła, who were awarded the Scotsman Fringe First Award and the Herald Archangel Award at Edinburgh Fringe Fest 2012. Seth is a founding member of L'Enfant Terrible, a touring company from Los Angeles devoted to making amazing, entertaining and subversive theater for all ages. In California, Seth was a company member of Theater Banshee and the Actors' Gang and worked with the Ensemble Theater, Celtic Arts Center and All Spot Co. Notably on the east coast Seth worked with Trinity Repertory, Central Square Theater, and North Shore Music Theater. Seth is the leader of Open Your Heart – a workshop blending the principles of physical theater, neutral masks, and commedia del arte. Seth received a NextGen grant in 2012 from the Center for Cultural Innovation for his work with marketing and branding guru Mission Paradox.

In 2013 Seth founded Aardvark Arts in order to help build sustainable platforms for artists to create. The main principles of this foundation are to help artists (and projects) find spaces to create, find funding to support, and find audiences to connect. Aardvark Arts is also exploring the next generation of marketing and promotion by remediating the work of it’s artists so that design and storytelling will be put to innovative uses and interfacing with digital reproductions will be a new interactive work of art in itself.
