Writer’s Bio
Lee Goff is a published novelist and an expert in therapy
execution, mental health syndromes, substance abuse, early
trauma, and addiction.
Over the years, Lee worked with various Federal and state
agencies in the areas of insurance fraud, international
financial instrument trading, supplying foreign entities with
safety gear, including gas masks and field military
situations. He is trained in various weapons and intelligence
tactics.
Lee has owned and operated various businesses, including
commercial technology and commercial lending. He served three
years on Dun & Bradstreet’s Business Advisory Council.
In 1996, he was accused of stealing a small amount of a
company’s money. After fighting the charge for two years, he
took a plea offer, and served 18 months in the Texas Prison
System. (He is an expert on the personalities and behaviors
of inmates and guards, and the ins-and-outs of prison life.)
Lee went on to serve as the V.P. of Operations for a private
investment firm, then spent the next three years as
Operations Officer for an outpatient Mental Health Clinic,
serving both adult and adolescent patients. He later was the
CEO of an upscale private residential Mental Health Hospital,
including an acute detoxification unit. Lee served patients
with dual diagnosis issues, ranging from sexual abuse to
addictions, to PTSD.
Lee has written three novels, “A Name Like Thunder”, “A Wrath
Like Thunder”, and “A Rage Like Thunder.” He also pens fan
fiction scripts based on the TV series, NCIS. Lee’s stories
