About Devante

Devante (Leyeom) Leach was born in Philadelphia with an act of creation, A jack of all traits but a master of none. He has always tried to create things with the resources left available to him since kindergarten. Although he was raised in a "not-so-pleasant" neighborhood with a mother who couldn't afford to give him classes in creation, he didn't let that stop him from trying to bring new elements and ideas to life.
As an adult he finally learned that it is possible to be within the film industry, building a name from jobs on craiglist, slowly moving over to bigger jobs, and taking anything and everything he could to get his foot in the door. Through the years he has grown enough of a reputation as a Production Assistant on many projects filmed in the east coast, still feeling like it wasn't where he belonged. It wasn't until he turned 28 that he obtained enough knowledge to finally pursue his real passion as a writer, and even though he hasn't fully gotten there, he is still determined to show the industry the mind he has.
