Jeanee Ledoux

Jeanée Ledoux, a Manhattan-based word nerd, got the comedy screenwriting itch after two decades of telling true stories as a craft author, nonfiction editor, and lifestyle journalist. In 2020, she began devouring classes from Gotham Writers Workshop and Roadmap Writers, then out tumbled her first rom-com feature, DOG PERSON, which has two producers attached.

She's excited to begin pitching her new rom-com movie, SOUTHERN CHRISTMAS SPIRITS, in which holiday joy and jump scares collide!

As Jeanée concepts future projects, she’s consistently drawn to female characters who are afraid to shine. But at the end of their journey, they light up their world.
