About Victor

Canadian born, newly retired Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Officer, Victor MacIntosh has spent the last 30 years serving both countries in Submarines. Victor completed a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies and Natural Science at University of Western Ontario (Canada).

Victor spent his working summers, in Yellowknife Northwest Territories (Canada) as Artistic Director of FOLK ON THE ROCKS - 1984 and later the producer of THE NYLONS benefit concert for Arctic House (halfway house for indigenous parolees); and the producer of the CRASH TEST DUMMIES, benefit concert for the Northern Arts and Cultural Centre.

After 7 years in the Royal Canada's Navy submarine service, he then left to run the first micro-brewery in Canada's Arctic, The Arctic Brewing Company. Returning to sea, Victor Joined the Australian submarine service upon immigration Down-Under.

During this time he co-authored the immigration themed sci-fi space pirate adventure Tears of the Hawk, e-published on Amazon.

World traveled and educated in life's experience, he has stood at the base camp of Mount Everest and has been humbled by the majesty of the both oceans and mountains. Ever fascinated by the peoples of many cultures, Victor has lived in Malaysia full-time with his family and has led large multi-national military exercises. He completed a Masters degree in Business through the University of New South Wales.

Returning home to Australia, he retired from the RAN (2019) to pristine Northwest Tasmania.

Retirement has meant he has been able to return to his passion of story-telling, creative writing and making films that strike the heart and challenge the mind.

He is currently working on his first script for feature film drawing on his experience of -- love enduring over distance and time.
