About Freda

Hi! I am a first-generation Chinese American actor/writer. I was born/raised in Chicago and moved out to LA in 2021. Growing up with immigrant parents, I believed there was only one path to success. It led me to question a lot about who I was and what I wanted and it was through film/TV where I was able to see so much more was possible. I love telling stories about self-discovery that empower us to own what makes us unique.

I'd love to connect with more female, nonbinary, queer, and POC filmmakers. My favorite genres are dark comedies and psychological thrillers. I'm currently in pre-production for a surreal comedy/thriller short I co-wrote with a friend.
