I've been writing and studying screenwriting for about 25 years now. Two of my screenplays have placed in the quarters of a three contest. One is now a semi-finalist. My first received rave reviews from a prominent University Screenwriting Professor. There are two producers who have asked for anything I write. My goal is to finish the three screenplays I am currently working on during 2022. My pursuit of a sale was slowed the last few years due to a family member's medical situation, however, this year looks like the turnaround. I'm open to collaboration, re-writes, and large or small projects.
In my professional life I was with the airline industry for 30 years. Although all of my time with the airlines was in training and ground operation, I am also a commercial and aerobatic pilot. Since 1966 I've also been a professional musician/saxophonist. Along the way I've worked for a radio station, been a greenskeeper at two country clubs, taught tennis, been a security guard during college, and was the oldest lifeguard at Jay Peak Resort in Vermont.
Hobbies have been many. Currently I'm racing Legend Race Cars. I snowmobile, ride street motorcycles, snowshoe, work my 10 acres...building structures for nature's critters, cutting, splitting and stacking firewood, using an excavator to dig ponds and maintain our garden. I've taught tennis, been a free-diver able to reach 50', white-water rafter and ocean rafter, surfer, golfer, softball player and umpire, and...
If anyone needs information for their screenplays about any of the above subjects, I'd be happy to help out. If any physical needs during production is needed, my services are also available. I'm also open to any writing partnerships that might come along.
Unique traits: I write most of my 1st drafts straight through until it's done. I started racing Legend Stock Cars at age 72. I'm a professional saxophonist.
