When native New Yorker Lara Reznik turned 17, she escaped out west in a dilapidated Karmann Ghia to study with the late, great authors Rudolfo Anaya and Tony Hillman at the University of New Mexico. Since that time, Lara has published 3 novels and optioned 2 screenplays. Building a tribe of baby boomer readers has allowed Reznik to retire from her day job in I.T. Currently, Lara is working on her 4th novel, The Inlaws, the Outlaws, & the Ex-laws. She lives in the great city of Austin, TX with her husband and two mini-Aussies.
