Juliana Vonlanten

Experienced director with a demonstrated history of working in the broadcast media industry. Skilled in Film Production, Television, Feature Films, and Storytelling. With approximately 20 years of professional experience in the creation, production, and direction of non-fiction, and fiction series and shows mainly for the children's and family market, Juliana was hired in 2002 by the Disney Channel LATAM to produce and direct a show called "Disney Planet", that has existed since 2000 and which was the gateway to hers directing career. Among interstitials, holiday specials, music videos, factuals, and musical series, her first relevant work was the series "Juacas" whose 2nd season won the 2020 New York Festivals – TV & Film award in the Children & Youth category and was nominated for the 2020 International Emmy Kids Awards. After that, she worked on Disney Plus's first Brazilian children's series, Tudo Igual... SQN, a show based on the books by Luly Trigo, its first season was released in 2022 and nominated for the New York Festivals – TV & Film award in the Children & Youth category 2023. The 2nd season is ready and expected to be released in the 2nd half of 2023. She recently co-directed the 2nd season of "O Coro: Sucesso aqui vou eu!" with Cininha de Paula and directed 4 episodes of "O Som e a Sílaba", both series created by Miguel Falabella. Her recent work was the creation and direction of the musical series "Uma Garota Comum", still without a premiere date.
