The Killing Dream (2023 - 2024)
Film (short) by HTET GYAW VFX artist / Animator / MochaTracking / Rotoscope A hitman falls into a dark depression after his wife's untimely death. He is visited by an old comrade with a shared military background, and is given an assignment to kill the head of a simulated dream program. During his mission he is confronted with the illusion of his wife, of their last moment together.

That’s exactly what our good friend Danny Feder of Lifetime had dreamt up when we got the call to create a graphics-heavy promo for season two of Project Runway Jr.

Film (short) by RINGLING COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN DIRECTOR "Last night in my dream I saw myself a butterfly, So I floated happily here and there; This morning I woke up,I was me again, So I brushed my teeth and ate pancakes. But now I’m not sure I’m me or a butterfly, Or I’m still dreaming or awaked, Who cares. I enjoy both flying and pancakes." Daydream Butterfly is a surreal motion graphic animation based on Zhuangzi Poetry Butterfly Dream Begin with a character who is dreaming, the richly hued illustrations come alive as they transform in colour and rhythmic tempo to reveal the dream spectrum. Created using After Effects, the viewer is transported into an immersive visual space, which is neither reality nor abstraction, but somewhere in-between.
