I've been writing all my life starting with tales of "moon creatures" when I was four years old. I spent thirty-some years in journalism, writing primarily about nutrition and health, reviewing restaurants, and developing recipes, as well as the occasional local feature or political article. I've written two novels , "Wrong Highway" (Shepherdess Books, 2016) and "It's Always 9/11" (Shepherdess Books, 2021). My screenplay "Liability Insurance" made the Second Round in the Austin Film Festival 2023. I am most interested in narrative drama and speculative fiction seen through the lens of relatable characters.
