I began my career by delving into the world of documentary films and short films, setting the stage for what would become an enriching journey in the realm of cinema.
My first major milestone came with the selection of my feature-length screenplay 'CYCLE' for the esteemed NFDC Writers’ Lab section in 2007. It was an honor to receive mentorship from distinguished figures such as Oscar winner Danis Tanovic and BAFTA nominees Olivia Hetreed and Bernd Lichtenberg, whose guidance significantly shaped my artistic growth.
Following this, 'Lathe Joshi' marked my second venture as a writer, director, and producer. The film's journey took it to over 20 international film festivals, where it garnered 11 prestigious awards, affirming the impact of our collective creative efforts.
Continuing to explore storytelling through film, 'Karkhanisanchi Waari' (Ashes on A Road Trip) became my third feature film. Its world premiere at the 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival opened doors to screenings at various festivals worldwide, including IFFI, Chennai, Shanghai, London, and Melbourne.
In 2022, my dedication to the craft was further recognized when I was selected as a fellow for Film Independent's Global Media Makers Program in Los Angeles, an opportunity that reinforced my commitment to honing my skills and contributing meaningfully to the cinematic landscape.
