Calli Ta'Nous

Calli Ta'Nous is a professional photographer and independent filmmaker based in Taos, New Mexico. She has been passionate about film from a young age and credits much of her success to the artists that provided support and guidance along her path. She is excited to bring that support full-circle by mentoring young filmmakers in the Taos community.

As a photographer, Calli specializes in creative portraiture — her gift is showcasing her subjects’ true essence — which is felt in the ethereal and vibrant imagery she creates. As an independent filmmaker her focus has been in documentary, art and narrative films. She has two feature screenplay projects in the works and several short films she is co-writing, filming and directing. She is excited to collaborate with and learn from other New Mexico filmmakers in the process of making films that inspire, uplift and tell the stories of people from all backgrounds.
