I am a filmmaker/screenwriter based in the New York area. My films have played many festivals including Cannes, Rotterdam, BFI London FF, SXSW, Slamdance and NYFF. My short film “Small Apartment” won the award for Best Narrative Short Film at SXSW, my short "John Wayne Hated Horses" was selected for Cannes Directors' Fortnight and I was named one of Filmmaker Magazine's "25 New Faces of Independent Film". My first feature film "Young Bodies Heal Quickly" was executive produced by Christine Vachon/Killer Films, premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival, and was named one of New Yorker Magazine critic Richard Brody's 30 best films of 2015. My most recent short film “Important Police Shit” had its premiere at the 2020 Clermont Ferrand Film Short Festival. As of late, I have been focusing on writing scripts, particularly in the horror genre.
