Lindsey Brannon is a passionate storyteller in the early stages of her film and TV career. Born in Utah and raised in Florida from six months old, her connection to Utah drew her annually to the Sundance Film Festival, where she discovered a love for diverse storytelling and creativity.
After 15 years of success in finance and operations—spanning roles at J.P. Morgan and startups—Lindsey took a leap of faith to pursue a full-time career in storytelling. Her first TV series, SASS (South Asian Students Society), is inspired by her college experiences at the University of Chicago and involvement in the South Asian club on campus. Her friendships with South Asian students from different backgrounds and trips to India deepened her understanding of the country’s rich cultures, traditions, and generational dynamics, further shaping the show’s exploration of identity, inclusion, and intersectionality. To elevate underrepresented voices, she co-founded Doodyaar Productions, a company dedicated to sharing stories of women, minorities, and LGBTQIA+ voices.
Lindsey is also honing her production skills as an Associate Producer and Production Coordinator for 109 Billion Followers, a micro-budget feature starring Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons and Tony-winner Nina Arianda. A graduate of the University of Chicago and the New York Film Academy, she combines analytical and creative expertise to craft compelling and inclusive stories for the screen.
