About Marianda

Marianda, born and raised in Athens, Greece, merges a diverse background from academia to the creative arts. An MIT alumna, her initial career spanned shipping and finance, parallel to her pursuits in the arts. Her work in painting and writing has led to exhibitions and features in Greek newspapers, culminating in the publication of her novel 'Hippocampus' in 2015.
Her creative journey took a pivotal turn in 2020 when she discovered a passion for screenwriting during acting courses at Stella Adler's Studio of Acting. This newfound passion has already borne fruit, with four spec scripts under her belt, including 'The Banksters,' which garnered multiple accolades.
Presently, alongside her screenwriting projects, Marianda manages 'Sea Lilies Suites,' a boutique art-hotel in Naxos. Her rich tapestry of experiences informs her narrative style, blending vivid storytelling with a keen eye for character and drama.
