About Matt

I'm looking to hone my skills as a screenwriter and network with others. The stories I gravitate to center around strong female leads and family relationships (I have three daughters and that helps inform my perspective). I've written and produced a 24-minute short, and also wrote a one-hour TV pilot; both of these received recognition. I've just begun the process of pitching my latest feature screenplay: BELL-BOTTOM NEWS GIRL. I'll admit I'm pretty pleased with this story!

Background:
My experiences include working at a television network affiliate, marketing and training film production, and public affairs / media relations for both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy (including covering stories within the war zones of Iraq and Afghanistan).
