STEM background, corporate technical writer for multiple decades. Writing scripts is a lot more fun.
Note that all my short scripts can be used free of charge by filmmakers provided I explicitly give permission and retain a "Written By" credit. You can read my short scripts "The Last King of America" and "The Wedding Dress" on Stage32 under loglines or at colinmummeryDOTcom. The PDFs for other shorts are not posted because they are either competing in a competition or being considered for production. Let me know at colinDOTmummeryATyahooDOTcom or through stage32 messaging if you'd like to read any script (including features).
Unique traits: I don't expect to make money out of writing, I'll be happy with the writing credit.
