Andrei Kureichyk

My name is Andrei Kureichik, and I am a scholar and practicing professor of film and theatre studies at Yale University, in addition to being a world-acclaimed playwright, screenwriter, and director. I have authored and directed more than thirty film and television screenplays. In Eastern Europe, the cumulative box office earnings of my films surpass $185 million. With a revenue of over $24 million, the film adapted from my screenplay became the highest-grossing Russian film in China. Internationally acclaimed awards and participation in prestigious film festivals have been bestowed upon my films. For three years, I topped the MovieResearch list of the highest-grossing and most successful screenwriters in Russia and the CIS.
