About Mario

Hi all, I'm Mario, a husband, father, Mr Fix-it, former self-defence instructor who now focuses on boxing.

I have been writing on and off for over 30 years and as you do, I have learnt a lot from it.

Lately my aim was to write something that pretty much wrote itself and was low budget, (which I did) and inspired by movies like, 'Bowfinger' and 'Dolomite is my name,' that could be filmed yourself if need be with a bunch of enthusiastic people.

Upon entering a handful of screenplay competitions, I have made it twice to the quarterfinals for my screenplay, 'Punch Kid.'

Because of my fondness to this project and the bursting amounts of ideas, I have also written its sequel, 'Punch Kid Punch.' and converted them both into audio!

I can't wait to continue this journey and see where it takes me.
