About Greg

My dream is to sneak into the back of a huge movie theater, sorta slide down the seat a bit and then watch and hear the whole audience just have a great time screening a film of mine. Laugh, cry, and everything in between. It's why I make films, nothing is as satisfying to the soul as entertaining! I hope to connect with and get to know lots of like-minded industry professionals at all levels and stages of their career and together, we can all reach our goals and tell our stories. I studied filmmaking at NYU Film, NYFA, and have a PHD in Media and politics.

  • Letters to the Pope: One Man's Quest for the Truth

Letters to the Pope: One Man's Quest for the Truth (2021 - 2023)
Documentary by Valmar Films LLC Writer/Director Tells the story of Enrique Vila Torres of Spain who has spent over 3 decades trying to uncover the truth about his and his "Cas Cuna Siblings" real, biological origin as they were all stolen and sold as babies from the same Nursery in Valencia, Spain. It culminates with a meeting with the Pope and a plea to once and for all open the secret Church Archives and allow them and thousands like them in Spain to finally discover their truth about who they are and where they came from before it is too late.

  • Stolen Babies of Spain

    Stolen Babies of Spain (2015 - 2019)
Documentary by Valmar Films LLC (Documentary) Writer/Director Chronicles the stealing, buying, and selling of babies and children that took place in Spain between 1939-1990s. Starting with the Dictator Franco, this was a systematic effort to eradicate the so-called "red gene": aka, those not loyal to Franco and their descendants and then morphed into a highly lucrative business of baby and child trafficking with the direct and indirect participation of doctors, nurses, bureaucrats, the Church, nuns, priests, and police. Thousands of Spaniards today still seek truth and reconciliation despite facing obstacles at every step in their struggle.

  • The Ultimatum

    The Ultimatum (2015 - 2019)
Film (short) by Valmar Films LLC Writer/Director Bernard has been out of college for 6 long, very long months. He has not moved much from the family couch and his eyes rarely move from the Gaming Screen or what used to be the family television. His Mom has had enough. She gives him a week to find a job or he's out on the street. He turns to his D&D gamers and their advice doesn't exactly help. meanwhile, his little sister keeps calling him a loser and is measuring his room for her Barbie Curtains when he gets the boot. So, with the clock running and no other options in sight he does something totally out of pure desperation-He goes on job interviews. Yikes.
