Benita Cullingford

As a former LAMDA drama teacher, I enjoy acting and writing for stage and screen. Many of my plays have been produced. I'm a co-director of our all-female film company J.A.B.S. Productions Ltd. Formed in 2021, we have made 6 short films, won three 1st place awards and been nominated in five International film festivals. I have personally won three 1st place awards for screenwriting, and four nominations. I am also the author of three published books; two non-fiction, and a children’s historical novel, the Hon. Treasurer of the SWWJ (Society of Women Writers & Journalists) and a member of WGGB (Writers Guild of Great Britain). My latest venture, and one I'm enjoying immensely, is writing my first children's animation feature film.
