Claire (she/her) is a New York-based writer. Her completed plays include R.I.P. BILLY (2021), THE BOX OFFICE (2023), and ADIRONDACK CHAIR MISSING PLEASE RETURN OR ELSE! (2024). ADIRONDACK was recently workshopped at Playwrights Realm and Primary Stages, and was selected as a semi-finalist for The Barr Hill Players Fellowship. Her play, THE BOX OFFICE, appeared at The Tank in October 2023 (d. Claire Marieb). Her other plays have been workshopped at The Barrow Group, The Playwrights Group, Chicago Dramatists, and Oregon Contemporary Theatre. Claire’s film/tv writing includes a television series called Lady Cops (LMC Productions), which received an award from BlueCat Screenplay Competition and was selected by the LA Independent Women Film Awards. She has also written two short films, DAWN (co-writer: Jessica Mercedes), and MOVING SCATTERED. She is a member of For, About, and By (F.A.B.) Women, a development company under the Off-Broadway umbrella of The Barrow Group.
When she isn’t writing, she's PA-ing, voice and background acting, and producing. She is also a trained advocate for domestic violence survivors. Claire loves being outside and binge watching tv (an oxymoron??), and treating biking in NYC like a fun little video game.
